What are the job prospects?

Aviation Industry is one of the three biggest industry of the world. In India it is growing at the rate of 9% per annum. With the entry of low cost airlines, increase in the income levels of the people, changing lifestyles, airlines is no longer the transport of the elite in India. As in the European countries it would soon become the transport of the masses This has and will in future create immense job opportunities. According to Aviation Minister Of India Praful Patel, Aviation Industry would create 40 lac jobs in next ten years i.e. 4 lac jobs every year. Industry is now creating a  revolution in India.

   

Does the institute provide job assistance?

Yes, the institute provides information regarding openings of different airlines at different locations. It also prepares students for the interview. Campus interviews by various airlines are held from time to time .

   

Where and how will I get a part time job? Why is it required?

Prior experience in any service industry is a must before you join aviation industry. Behavioral based questions like “Give an example when you disagreed with someone on the job. How did you settle it?” are asked during airlines interview. The institute gives its students an opportunity to work as customer care executive in its own organisations. Further, it will prepare and help students to take up part - time jobs in various hotels and restaurants.

   

Will there be a dress code?

Yes, there will be two sets of  uniform  provided by the academy itself. Shoes & stockings (girls) or socks (boy) will have to be bought by the student.

   

Do we have an access to library?

Yes, the Academy provides free membership of renowned Swami Vivekanand Library.

   

What other activities are held in the Academy?

The institute believes in learning from experience. Hence, for the overall development of the personality of the students various activities are conducted regularly. These are:

What are the timings and how many days in a week are the classes held?

Classes are held five days a week from Monday to Friday. Saturday is an activity day . Duration of classes each day is for 3 hours.

   

How will a three hours class help?

This training is not like a school/university education. It aims at developing soft skills  which includes good communication skills, team spirit, professional image, managerial qualities and so on. All this does not come from long hours of classroom study but through quality training and practical experience .This is what the academy emphasizes on. Keeping this in mind the training through quality classroom teaching coupled with extra curricular activities mentioned above.
